A first outlet store for London.
Jack Wills, the premium UK fashion retailer, has just confirmed they are to open their first outlet store in the capital, at Wembley Park’s London Designer Outlet (LDO), where they will be bringing their British heritage-inspired brand to the increasingly successful shopping and leisure destination.
Following a swathe of recent lettings to Ernest Jones, Levi’s, Sony and Franklin & Marshall, this additional landmark signing is further evidence of Realm’s strong leasing and asset management performance. LDO is currently posting trading figures of +21% (like-for-like sales) with footfall still swelling by +15% two and a half years after opening and giving a rolling annual total of 6.5 million.
Recognised for its high-quality “fabulously British” products, Jack Wills will join the plethora of younger, lifestyle brands on offer at LDO, namely Superdry, Nike, Adidas, The North Face, Oakley, Kurt Geiger and GAP. The new addition is expected to benefit greatly from the shared association with sports and events as the centre sits adjacent to the iconic Wembley Stadium and SSE Arena, providing an excellent cultural fit.
Established in 1999 by two Devonshire friends, Peter Williams and Robert Shaw, Jack Wills now operates worldwide with more than 80 stores across the UK, North America, The Middle East and Asia.
Speaking of the new arrival, Sue Shepherd, LDO centre manager commented:
“We are delighted to welcome Jack Wills to LDO, which continues to go from strength to strength. Jack Wills is yet another vote of confidence in the centre and enhances our strong branded line-up. We’re confident that our guests will enjoy having this popular British brand as part of the experience LDO provides.”
